Who's ready to get healthy & fit?!

***NEXT CHALLENGE GROUP, STARTING FEBRUARY 2nd***




February is the month of love, but that doesn't necessarily mean the romantic kind. Love begins with loving yourself, and that is what we are going to focus on during this challenge!

Join me in this fun and interactive challenge group and together we will work towards getting healthier and in better shape, while we also focus on loving ourselves! In this challenge, we will focus on your nutrition and fitness goals, while providing motivation and daily accountability! Plus, what I’m adding to this month’s challenge is journaling! Don’t worry; the journaling and little “assignments” will be quick, daily assignments that will allow you the chance to focus on YOU and the things that make you happy!

During this challenge, we will have fun, encourage each other, have a chance to win prizes, and together we will work hard and keep each other motivated to get the results we want to see AND feel! All of this will be done in our own homes, on our own schedules...what's more convenient than that? It's a recipe for success! I will right here by your side and we will do this together.

This 4 week challenge will run February 2nd through March 1st. Pricing varies depending on which workout program you choose and if you want to include Shakeology in your program (which I highly recommend doing), so let's talk now and match you with the perfect plan that's right for YOU and your GOALS!

Get Back on Track With Shakeology

Did you overindulge this weekend? That's ok, slipping up is good sometimes- it makes you want
to get back on track that much more! Here are some good ways to bounce back:

1. Drink tons of water!
2. Eat mostly raw because it will cleanse your system and you'll feel lighter.
3. Do 20-30 minutes of cardio and hit the weights for a full body routine.
4. Drink Shakeology to help rid your body of toxins!

Roasted Cauliflower Recipe




Cauliflower is the new potato...at least in our house it is! We LOVE it and I'm always looking for new ways to cook it. I found this recipe on a great recipe/cooking blog woodenspoons.in!

Ingredients

1 large head cauliflower, cut into medium-sized florets
3 Tbs. olive oil
2-3 cloves garlic, minced
3 Tbs. balsamic vinegar
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper
1/2 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions


Mix everything above—except the Parmesan- in a large bowl. Let sit for an hour or so.

About 35 minutes before serving, preheat oven to 425 degrees. While the oven is preheating, line a baking sheet with foil. Put ingredients on the lined sheet then bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and stir in the cheese and bake for another 10 -15 minutes until fork tender.

What is Being a Beachbody Coach All About?

Coaching Opportunity Event! 




After becoming a mommy and continuing to make my health and fitness a priority in my life, I turned to home workouts in addition to running (my passion). I was doing P90X workouts and On Demand workout videos, but I felt it was timef or a change. I decided to try out PiYo and was also interested in trying out Shakeology® for nutrition. I’ve been making green smoothies for a couple years and love them, but I was starting to get lazy with making them –t he shopping, prepping, and clean-up was getting tedious. After trying out both the workouts and the shakes, I was hooked! Needing to also get back to work to supplement my husband’s income, I thought maybe I’d try out being a “coach” for Beachbody. It seemed pretty fun and rewarding, and I’d get a discount on these great products, so why not give it a shot?

I cannot tell you how happy I am that I decided to take a leap of faith by becoming a part of this AMAZING company! It has been an INCREDIBLE experience so far. I’m truly amazed at how much I'VE been inspired since deciding to help others achieve their health and fitness goals. No matter what our backgrounds are or how big our goals are, we all hold each other accountable and help pave the way towards a healthier, happier life! I’m not just helping them…they’re helping me too!

Not only am I inspired every day and pushed to be my best, the rewards of hard work are jaw-dropping! Just today I registered for the SS Beachbody 5-night cruise on Oasis of the Seas to Jamaica! THIS TRIP WILL BE PAID FOR!! Never in my dreams did I think I’d work for a company that rewarded hard work like THIS!


From being an inactive, unhealthy college girl who could barely run to the end of the street, to a marathon runner and healthy living advocate, here I am finally doing something I love and helping others at the same time...AND I get to do it from home and still be with my daughter! It has brought my two worlds together so I don’t have to miss out on being home with my daughter AND I get to change peoples’ lives for the better! I've found my calling and I couldn't be happier that I took the chance at this awesome work from home opportunity!

Chicken with Lemon Caper Sauce Recipe

I'm always searching for easy and healthy recipes for my family. I very easily get in the routine of making the same thing week after week...I feel so limited with keeping healthy and sticking to a mainly Paleo-friendly diet.

I was so excited to find this chicken recipe with lemon caper sauce on myrecipes.com. My husband and I both love capers! (salad is a packaged chopped kale and Brussels sprouts with added avocado, found at Safeway or Lucky)



Ingredients

  • 4 (6-ounce) skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 1/2 cup fat-free, less-sodium chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons capers, drained
  • 3 tablespoons minced flat-leaf parsley

  • Preparation

  • 1. Place chicken between 2 sheets of plastic wrap; pound to an even thickness using a meat mallet or small heavy skillet. Sprinkle chicken evenly with salt and pepper. Place flour in a shallow dish; dredge chicken in flour.
    2. Melt butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken to pan; cook 3 minutes. Turn chicken over. Add broth, juice, and capers; reduce heat to medium, and simmer 3 minutes, basting chicken occasionally with sauce. Sprinkle with parsley; cook 1 minute. Remove chicken from pan; keep warm.
    3. Bring sauce to a boil; cook 2 minutes or until thick. Serve over chicken.

The 14-day Shakeology Challenge is designed for people who need a little help getting their fitness and nutrition journey going, but aren't ready to commit to a full 21, 30 or 60 challenge group just yet! 

This Clean Eating & Shakeology Challenge will help you lose weight, incorporate exercise into your daily routine and get in the habit of eating healthy, balanced meals a day.

During the 14 days, you will be asked to:
    Drink Shakeology every day
    Exercise for at least 30 minutes every day
    Drink half of your weight in oz. of water each day
    Follow my meal plan
    Weigh in only on days 1 and 14!
    Check into the group daily for online support and motivation from me

Once you complete the 14-day Shakeology Challenge you WILL see RESULTS and it will be easier than ever to stick with your new fitness and clean eating routine!!
