21 Day Fix Approved Chocolate Almond Butter Mug Cake - Paleo Approved Too!

  1. This recipe is heaven on earth, especially if you're a 21 Day Fixer! 
  2. 21 Day Fix AND Paleo friendly! I've seen a lot of recipes similar to this one with peanut butter, which I love, but since I follow a Paleo diet, PB is a no-no. I use almond butter instead, and I've also used cashew butter, which is also delish in this cake!

  1. 1 Scoop (or 1 packet) Vegan Chocolate Shakeology® (or regular if that's what you already have)
  1. 1/4tsp Baking powder
  1. Pinch of sea salt
  1. 1T Unsweetened cocoa powder
  1. 1 Egg white
  1. 1tsp honey
  1. 5T Unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  1. 1-2tsp almond butter (or cashew butter)


  1. Spray mug with coconut oil
  2. In a small bowl, combine Shakeology, baking powder, sea salt, and cocoa powder
  3. Add egg white, honey, and almond milk -Stir until combined
  4. Add half of the batter to the bottom of the mug
  5. Drop 1 teaspoon of almond butter in center of batter, then add remaining batter to the mug
  6. Microwave for about 1 minute 30 seconds - note that microwave times will vary! 
  7. Remove from microwave and allow to cool in mug for 3-5 minutes
  8. Remove from mug or eat directly from it! 
  9. Drizzle more nut butter of choice or top with sprinkle of vanilla shakeology

  1. Cafe Latte is one of my favorite flavors and I'm glad you guys intorudced it in something really healthy. I will be getting this once I start working out again.
