Zoodles (Zucchini Noodles) with Meat Sauce

I made this the other night for dinner and it was a hit! Following a Paleo/ anti-inflammatory diet keeps us away from wheat and grains, so we sure miss pasta dishes. It was fun to pretend we were having spaghetti night while getting in our veggies! Super easy to make and delish, try it!

How to Make this Dish!


Zoodles

Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pound zucchini

Instructions
Make zucchini noodles with spiralizer or julienne peeler
Heat olive oil in a large saute pan
Add zucchini noodles (add seasoning if you want) to pan
Stir for 3-5 minutes until noodles are tender
Serve

Meat Sauce

Ingredients
1lb organic grass fed beef or ground turkey
1Tbsp minced garlic or 2 cloves garlic
1tsp Basil
1tsp Thyme
1tsp oregano
Salt & Pepper to taste
1 Jar organic marinara sauce

Instructions
Brown meat in large skillet while adding in spices and garlic
Add sauce and simmer 15-20 minutes

Pour over zoodles and top with Parmesan cheese if desired
Serve and enjoy!

  1. Baaam! Finally an accompaniment for my crusted turkey I hope this works out well now to think of a vegetable salad that would go well with this combo
